Desert Rose Cluster -
A desert rose is an intricate rose-like formation of crystal clusters of gypsum or baryte, which include abundant sand grains. The "petals" are crystals flattened on the axis, fanning open in radiating clusters.
The desert rose may also be known by the names: sand rose, Sahara rose, rose rock, selenite rose, gypsum rose and baryte (barite) rose.
The desert rose crystal is used in crystal healing to still the mind from distractions and disruptions, allowing worries to quiet. Helpful for strength in affirmations and meditation.
